– To research FTP/server type and whether Booking Wizz can easily be installed on our site
– To find out and report back on whether BW can do:
– Recurring tickets
– No single tickets (basic) or will only allow single tickets to be booked after 2 have been bought together (advanced perhaps)
– Blackouts
– Will stop taking bookings 48 hours before tour is due to start

– Quote for installing BW off-the-shelf version (saying what of the above it can and can't do) and quote for customising BW and installing it so it does all of the above
– Recommending an alternative if it will be very expensive to customise BW so it does all of the things we're looking for

My Wordpress site – www.insider-trends.com – needs a paid download area so customers can pay to download PPT presentations.


Hopefully the space will be relatively simple – it will list a series of PPT downloads, then the customer can choose one, pay through PayPal, and be automatically sent a link. They can repeat the process if they want to buy another.

The solution needs to make it easy for me to upload and remove presentations from the list.



The most promising offer so far uses a plugin which fits the following description:

- Plugin is free on an ongoing basis
- The only fee is through PayPal, which takes a % when a customer makes a purchase


The plugin also has a series of steps that are as follows:

- Customer adds downloadable item to cart from your website
- Customer clicks the 'Checkout' button
- Customer selects payment method and enters billing info
- Customer is directed to Thank You page upon successful payment
- Customer downloads file from a protected area on your website
