Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Short Version: Simple "Favourites" WP Plug-in. Folder creation, folder directory and folder posts page. Modal pop-ups to match existing. Basic Dashboard management. NB: No permissions required!
My client has a Wordpress site used as a directory of creatives, each existing as a post. When clicked from the list of posts, further details on each creative are shown in a modal pop-up (lightbox).
I need a simple plug-in created that allows the creation of individually named folders (Projects) to contain lists of “favourite” posts. The site is only accessible via log-in so permissions are not required.
A menu item will need to be added to the header “Saved Projects)
All post pop ups will need a “Save to Project” link (and variations according to status). This will lead to more pop-ups including “Select Project” or “Create new Project”. There will also be a required field “Creator Name”.
The “Saved Projects” will lead to a directory list of all projects. This will also show the creator name, the amount of posts in that project and a delete option (which will only “hide” the project)
Clicking on a project in the directory list will lead to the posts page filtered by that project, exactly as the original except with crosses on each post allowing quick deletion from the project only.
Also required is a simple Dashboard area for simple administrator management of all projects and content therein (mainly “unhiding” deleted projects or permanent deletion)
The chosen freelancer will receive a full zip of the site and work on their own live development platform for testing and notes from myself and client. They will then present a plug-in to be installed on the existing site. I would expect turnaround to be no longer than a week following commission. Scope is clearly set out in a PDF, so client changes will be minimal.
A full PDF will visuals and detailed instructions (created by myself for my client) is available.
