Wordpress membership site (including custom database work)

Hi,

I’m looking to work with an expert Wordpress developer who can help me with some advanced custom coding and database work.

The outline basic page theme/template will be provided by myself. I’ll create the content pages, such as “about us”, etc.


What I need someone to do in summary, however, is:

- Create an advanced user registration and payment/subscriptions system for different levels of users
- Allow users to edit their details on a Profile page (to be in the front-end of the website, not in WP-Admin)
- Integrate the database with MailChimp (including sub-lists with "interest groups" on MailChimp).
- Create a range of reports and selectable options in the Admin area of the website
- Integrate a private 1-2-1 messaging facility, including ability to upload files and timestamp when this happened
- Ability to upload files for a certain user role to see

I am quite happy for you to use available plugins that you can find, because this will cut down on your development time and also increases the stability if they’ve been tested on 100s of other websites already, but I’m aware you may well have to customise them a lot to ensure their functionality meets our exact requirements and specification. I am happy to purchase any premium plugins you may find and provide these to you to help with your work.

I am working with a very demanding customer, so please bear in mind that they may want changes as we go along, so please factor this editing time into your bid!

Wordpress must be updatable in future, so if you need to touch the Wordpress core files, all changes must be recorded so that I know what to do in case any files get overwritten.

PLEASE NOTE: As long as the project is delivered complete, on-time and to high standards, I will also offer a discretionary bonus payment on top of your quote.




I intend to close bidding on Tuesday morning, 17th April, (London, UK time). I will provide you with FTP, WP Admin and phpMyAdmin access on my hosting account to do the work.

** The above work must be complete by Wednesday 9th May 2012. There will then be a week or so of testing that myself and my client will perform. **




PLEASE NOTE: Bidders that can demonstrate their Wordpress expertise and can also show they have understood my brief are most likely to attract my attention! Good time keeping and good value for money are other key considerations for me.
