Website update incl. mobile versioning

we have an existing website www.avisu.co.uk which has been completed over 2 years ago. however as the company is working in a highly technical and innovative field the site seems bland and un-interesting. the successful bidder will have a portfolio of websites that show their web design creativeness and ability to apply that talent to the specific industry and mission of the company. also the site needs to contain a mobile browsing version that is easy to navigate. we are open to creative ideas to make our site stand out. improved google search results would be targetted also. We can discuss detailed requirements (such as the presence of a 'latest news' type field that is easy to update and is more than just a square box on the page for example) further.
