Website Development and Digital Media Marketing Support

Nottingham-based International Development charity Education for the Children (EFTC) seeks a Communications Intern who can help develop our website and give valuable support to our Digital Media Marketing.

EFTC supports 500+ first-generation learners living in poverty in Guatemala, Central America. We provide education, food, healthcare, counselling and social support to enable these children to build a brighter future and break the cycle of poverty.

The position is voluntary. Activities will include:

• Editing and updating the structure of the website, additing pages, functions, articles, artwork and galleries using the Joomla CMS
• SEO
• Assisting our social media marketing campaigns on Twitter and Facebook and improving the interconnectivity between them and the website.
• Giving insight into the design and development of two new websites, one for our Guatemalan Foundation and one for our newly established Foundation in the USA.
