Website Design

I am looking to create an educational website, offering simple flash-based mathematics games for use in the classroom and at home.

The website URL has been registered and a trail flash game has been created. Apart from that, we are very much on the drawing board.

I would, in the first instance, like a simple website created of only one or two pages mainly to establish a web presence and to explore theme and design elements.

A child friendly, intuitive design is important. We are very open to ideas and guidance from a individual who has experience, or at least an understanding, of what makes websites accessible to children and acceptable for educational environments.

I would like a per-hour agreement, in light of the potential of a developing relationship towards a larger more sustained site in the future. Being able to create flash applications would be an advantage.

It is worth mentioned that the development of the site may be somewhat 'stop start', over the coming months, so this is an ideal project for a website developer looking a few extra hours on a occasion basis.
