Website Work required
Tidy-up
1. News box to be made bigger, maybe twice the length as it looks lost on the left.
2. The manufacturers dropdown in the picker now shows every manufacturer instead of showing only the manufacturers available in the specific category, can this be altered to show only the available manufacturers.
3. Can the import script send me an email even if the file ‘target.xml’ is missing, so I can confirm it is running when it should, and I can see when the import file fails to turn up.
4. Can the import script rename the imported file, in case I want to add any missing categories and run it again.
5. Do we need a security certificate or do we already have one? (I think we have one installed but I really don’t understand security certificates).
New Functionality
1. Pricing policy application during import.
a. The code for the policy is in rounding.php in htmldocs
b. Just view rounding.php to see what it does.
c. This policy should be applied each time a price is imported, I believe the database only holds the pre-vat price, so rounding.php can calculate the correct pre-vat price for the final price we need.
2. PayPal Pro (direct payments) installed but not working can this be fixed.
3. Can we have a WSYWIG editor (ckeditor) for:
a. The info pages in admin.
b. The product description box in admin.
c. Newsletter manager in admin.
4. The pictures imported are actually hosted on the target website, as a result if you click on the picture it says “The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.” Can it be made to display the pictures correctly when clicked on.
5. On the individual product screen can the add to cart and reviews button be below the model and price but above the picture and full description, so it can easily be seen rather than being hidden away at the bottom.
6. Can you re-design the purchasing screens, cart, delivery options, payment options etc, so they look better and are more user friendly.
Please note I have moved the site to the live location and renamed the admin directory as ntadmin so it is more difficult to hack.
I think I have enabled .htaccess security using the same username/password combination as before but can you check this is in place as not it seems to let me in without asking for any password, but this may be because my machine is just remembering it.
