Redesigning and revamping our website in terms of Webdesign and GUI.


The website needs to be revamped
Our website is very well positioned in terms of SEO and visibility with our website and we get a good amount of traffic to our site. We also have a youtube channel with videos. We are currently working on 12 additional videos that will be product 3D presentations
The site is very extensive and has a large amount of text and data, videos, downloadable material, dynamic pricing and shop.
The site needs improvements and a new feel
The main things I want to achieve with this redesign are:
1) Use of the entire screen, so that the content of the site will fit the users screen size (same as amazon.co.uk for example)
2) Bring the shop to the home page
3) Create a better navigation clarity
4) Allow space for “sales” and “offers”
5) Allow place to drive additional sales in the shop area, like offering products at the checkout etc
6) Overall better presentation of the products, clearer, nicer and more exciting
7) New ideas, options and things I don’t know exist that can bring interesting things to our website
8) Improve conversions
9) Reduce bounce rates
In the first stage I want to work only on graphics and UI, so we do not need to deal with the subject of programming but only design concepts, and how the pages will look
In the second stage we will make these concepts live in the programming. That is the easier stage once all the site is planned out
I am looking for innovation and bright concepts.
As the work is quite extensive I will break the project into two major stages in terms of how to progress
Stage 1 will be concept stage where you will present your ideas and general plan and designs
Stage 2 will be doing all the work after sorting out each and every step and page and supplying the output as specified by the dot net programmer who will require the graphics layer from you
My idea is to give stage 1 to three or four different companies/designers so we really get the best result possible and move to stage 2 with the best one
Price needs to be given according to these 2 stages.
As you can see from the site, 99% of the copy is there but part of the work is to go through the copy and better it, make it clearer etc. and where needed create new copy
The company should be English as this website is aimed at the UK market and the language needs to be perfect UK English.
