[woocommerce experts] Restrict woocommerce coupons by custom taxonomy

Hello everyone, I am using Woocommerce 2.5.5 on WordPress 4.5.3

I have created some custom taxonomies and attached them to Woocommerce Products.

In Woocommerce, we can create coupons and restrict the use of coupons for certain product categories only.

I need to restrict coupons by a custom taxonomy? This is not available in Woocommerce as a standard option - so I need someone who knows WordPress, woocommerce, PHP to write a code for this?

Experts only please as its not straightforward - I'm a woocommerce / WordPress developer myself.
