I need to put subscribers on a list of around 100 people. Once on the list they would be able to access a certain info page and be able to change their password. My webpage hosts have ftp and cgi servers. The system should be as simple as possible. The process sequence would be:

1. Clicking on an info page link on our webpage would take browsers to a log in page on the way to that certain info page. They either log in and access that info page or click on a link to take them to a registration page and request registration (This part is not required - I can do this myself).

2. We would register them and give them a password manually. Once they receive their password, They would be able to login with their email (declared when registering) and the password we have sent them and access the info page.

3. On the info page the subscriber should be able to click "Change Password" and change his password. The new password should then enter the list of subscribers against the name of that particular subscriber. If subscribers lose their password we would let them have it manually. The info page should not be accessible to non-subscribers and if simple enough should be accessible for a certain period of time (say one year).

4. When info page is modified subscribers should be e-mailed a short message to inform them.

I use CuteFTP and uploading of scripts (cgi server) and pages (ftp server) should be straightforward otherwise help should be available.
