Description
Experience Level: Expert
Kindly, could anyone help me with this ?
The project:
The development of a Web based environment which supports the setting and sitting of on-line assessment, typically in the form of multiple choice questions, but also supports other types of questions such as free text or multiple response. Three types of user should be supported, administrators, lecturers and students, and the environment should be secure, and in that users should have clearly defined levels of access and capability when using the software. The Web seems ideally suited to on-line assessment via the use of fill-out forms, using a server side scripting language such as PHP, linked to a MySQL database. While Web page design is an inherent part of the project, the emphasis will be on software development. The functionality of the software will be weighted far more significantly than say the visual impact of the pages. PHP / MySQL are the preferred platform for a solution and the solution should run on a School of Engineering server.
Preliminary report:
1- Title – name, author, date.
2- Abstract: You can find full details on page 2.
3- Table of contents “numbered headers numbered structure” the report should be from 17 to 24 pages at max somewhere in the middle of that like 19 is what I need
4- Simple aims
5- Introduction (literature reviews on the forms of questions(multiple choice questions, free text or multiple response questions) “research”
6- Aims “real aims and objective”
7- Plan “10 weeks long starting from march” in a GANTT chart + explanations
- The tasks for the plan should be relevant
- Good detail
- Nothing general it has to be specific
- DO NOT write something like week 1 , design . week 2, website . etc it has to be detailed
8- Conclusion
9- References “at least 10 references using IEEE standards”
So to recap it’s a 19 pages report and don’t forget to mention why I choose this project, use something like I always was fascinated by websites and the ways to creates some kind of questions to ask the visitors about specific subjects such as (sports) so computer web based on-line assessment is almost the same. Please don’t use some kind of styles in the report. I want the style to be simple and basic but full of potential.
The Steps:
A complete guide on how I am going to build that project.
