**What I'm Looking For**
I'm looking for an experienced YouTube video editor to join me on an ongoing basis. You should have a strong understanding of YouTube-native editing, pacing, retention hooks, captions, and clean cuts that keep viewers engaged throughout.

I work on Davinici Resolve.

**Style & Format**
The channel has a clean, modern feel, think minimal motion graphics, smooth cuts, and clear on-screen text for key points. In terms of editing style and production quality, channels that inspire the direction of Future Simplified include:

- **This is E** — story telling, energy and pacing
- **Better Creating** — audience-focused clarity and structure
- **MKBHD** — polished, high-production tech content
- **Optimum** — clean and concise delivery
- **Ali Abdaal** — accessible, well-paced productivity content

A style reference and raw footage examples will be shared with the successful candidate.

**Scope of Work**
- 1–2 videos edited per month
- Video length: 5–8 minutes per video
- Deliverables per video: Final edit, animations (when applicable), captions/subtitles
- Turnaround: to be agreed, but typically within 5–7 days of receiving raw footage

**Test Edit First**
Before committing to an ongoing arrangement, I'd like to start with a paid test edit on a single video. This gives us both a chance to assess fit before locking anything in.
