Videographer / Photographer — Solar & Storage Live, ExCeL London
Dates: Wednesday 29 April 2026 (day one confirmed; day two optional)
Location: ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock, E16 1XL
Hours: Approx. 09:15–18:15 on day one (09:15–16:30 if day two required)
Rate: Please quote your day rate. Day two may be offered subject to budget.
About us: Renew Energy (renew-energy.co.uk) is a UK manufacturer and supplier of solar panel mounting systems - the brackets, rails and fixings that go between the roof and the panel. We supply trade installers, commercial contractors and wholesalers across the UK.
What we need:
We'll have our founder Donal and colleague Huw attending as visitors (no stand). We need a skilled videographer/photographer to follow Donal throughout the day capturing:
Donal networking and chatting with exhibitors and other brands on the show floor (natural, candid-style - think run-and-gun / documentary)
Short-form vertical clips for Instagram Reels and LinkedIn (9:16)
Wider horizontal shots for blogs, website and LinkedIn articles (16:9)
Still photography — candid and environmental shots throughout
A small number of "to camera" pieces if opportunities arise naturally
The goal is authentic, professional content that shows Renew Energy as an active, connected player in the UK solar industry.
Kit:
We have full camera, audio and lighting kit available if needed. Please let us know what you'll bring and we can discuss what to supplement.
Deliverables:
Raw files uploaded to Google Drive — first selects (edited or raw) same day or the following morning
Full delivery within 5 working days — please state your turnaround
Editing:
Please quote for shoot-only AND shoot + edit (basic colour grade, cuts to length for each platform). We're happy to pass to our own editor if preferred.
Experience we're looking for:
Confident working in busy trade show / exhibition environments
Run-and-gun or documentary-style shooting experience
Comfortable following a subject through a crowd and capturing natural conversations
Experience shooting for social media (Reels, LinkedIn video) preferred
