Experience Level: Expert
We’re looking for a skilled video editor to join our team on a long-term basis, editing 3–4 videos per month for a growing travel YouTube channel, Chloe & Ludvig.
This is not just basic editing—we’re looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, and humor at a high level.
About the Channel
The content blends travel with a quirky, engaging style similar to Ryan Trahan. The edits rely heavily on:
Strong narrative structure
Comedic timing and visual humor
Retention-focused pacing for YouTube
What We’re Looking For
Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling and viewer retention
Ability to incorporate humor, memes, and timing effectively
close attention to detail and consistency in quality
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
Long-term mindset (this is not a one-off project)
Requirements
Must use DaVinci Resolve (non-negotiable)
Experience editing for YouTube (travel or similar content is a plus)
Comfortable working with direction while also bringing creative input
Project Details
3–4 videos per month
Fixed rate per video (paid monthly)
Ongoing, long-term collaboration
Hiring Process
If selected, we’ll start with a paid 3-minute trial edit to assess fit and style.

This looks like a great fit and I like the storytelling direction.
Just to clarify before applying, what’s the typical length of each video and the level of editing expected (e.g. light cuts vs more intensive storytelling with memes, sound design, and motion elements)?
Also, for the trial edit, will assets and direction be provided, and is it a one-time test or part of a multi-stage selection? -
