We’re seeking an experienced Video/Audio Engineer to help configure and optimize a multi-camera podcast or broadcast studio setup. This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in studio builds, live streaming, and hybrid (in-studio + remote) configurations.
Scope of Work:
The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing a streamlined and flexible studio system that can handle:
All Guests In-Studio
In-Studio + Remote Guests
All Remote Guests
The system must operate seamlessly across all three formats, with minimal downtime or tech troubleshooting during sessions.
Current Equipment Includes:
Tascam Model 12 (audio interface and mixer)
2× ATEM Mini Extreme (video switchers)
Panasonic Lumix GH6 Cameras

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience setting up multi-camera studio environments
Deep understanding of audio routing, video switching, and live-streaming workflows
Experience integrating remote guest feeds into studio setups (e.g. via Zoom, Skype, or vMix)
Familiarity with syncing video/audio devices with minimal latency
Ability to recommend additional hardware or software, if needed
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Location: New York CIty
Project Type: One-time setup with potential for ongoing technical consulting
Compensation: Competitive – based on experience
