Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
here are all the details you need for revision and final acceptance of the assignment.the cut-off date is th 28th of April.
subject the video clip:
GPS
there has to be a short voice over which I'm happy to do.
I will need both VirtuaDub rendered video clip and .avs script file.
It should be no
longer than 30 seconds and should use audio and images in ways that add
dimensions that help to increase the amount of information the audience is
able to assimilate in the time stipulated.
The video should use a frame rate of 25 fps and a frame size of 320 × 240
pixels, though you may orient this as either portrait (240 × 320 pixels) or
landscape (320 × 240 pixels).
The completed video should include the following elements:
. at least one still image taken from the image bank in the resources
. text which should include name ************ title of the video, and
any acknowledgements or references for the images and sounds you have
used
. sound which should include
◦ voice commentary
◦ a minimum of two sound effects or a section of recorded music
taken from the audio bank (or alternatives which are your own or
copyright free) but you are free to include both sound effects and
recorded music if you wish
. at least three video-editing techniques created using at least three of the following AviSynth functions:
dissolve, fade, zoom, pan, crop, resize.
Note that FadeIn and FadeOut are considered to be only one editing
technique (fade), even though they relate to two distinct AviSynth
functions.
You are not required to add any blank frames at the start or end of video. In fact, you are strongly advised not to do so. If you do decide to include blank frames, they must be
completely blank (no images, text or sound associated with them). Any
completely blank frames at the start or end of your video will not count
as part of the 30-second limit. (For more advice on the use of
BlankClip, read Section 3 of the Block 5 Software Guide.)
video must be in AVI format, must be produced using AviSynth scripts
rendered using VirtualDub and must not use any other video editing tool.
The use of any external video clip or animations as inputs to AviSynth is not
permitted: only still images are allowed. As evidence of meeting these
requirements you must submit an AviSynth script that incorporates all of
the separate scenes and the soundtrack.
As well as the completed video you should also submit the final AviSynth
script, soundtrack and all of the images used in the video.
