Description
Experience Level: Expert
The video should be a remake of the video Meadowlands Zone 1 by Simon Senn (http://vimeo.com/51739761). That means that the video should have the same "ranting competition" concept. A "ranting competition" is a competition in which the winner is the one that can express his anger in the most convincing and intense way. It is very important that when watching the video the viewer understands the structure of the competition. The structure of the competition has to be explained to the participants by the moderator.
The video will be delivered in full HD with a translation (with the corresponding timing at the beginning of each sentence). The duration should be around 7-10 minutes but can be longer.
The job has a fixed price of $630 USD and a 50% deposit will be made.
The script
The introduction: It should be a 50 seconds statement, made by the winner of the competition, about corruption and the difficulty to trust politicians. This sequence should be very energetic and filmed in the street.
The rest of the video should be the behind-the-scenes (making of) of this 50 seconds clip. The main character should be the moderator, he should explain to the people what to do. His mission is to find 5 people (the participants) that are good at delivering a strong statement about corruption. He should go by foot in a crowded place and find people from the lower class there. When five people are chosen and gathered, they should stand in circle and one by one they should deliver a short statement. Then when they are done, the moderator should ask them to vote for the one they think is the best amongst them. The winner should be filmed alone in order to make the introduction of the video. Right after that, the winner would be awarded 3000 Pakistani Rupee in cash in small bills. We should see in the video when the winner gets the money.
The epilogue: As an epilogue the video should make obvious that while being shot in Pakistan, the video was ordered by an artist in Switzerland and that the project was coordinated by somebody in the UK. In order to do so, recordings of Skype screen capture video conversations should be used.
