Professional video editor needed – A4G new starter induction video - proposal cost is negotiable!
Project overview
We are A4G, a growing UK accountancy and business advisory firm, and we are looking for an experienced video editor to professionally edit our new starter induction video.
We have already filmed the speakers and have a detailed script/editing plan showing the content, structure and suggested overlays.
The finished video should feel modern, professional, engaging and polished, rather than like a series of talking-head recordings joined together.
This will be shown to new employees as part of their induction, so it needs to represent the quality and personality of the A4G brand.
We will provide:
* All recorded video footage of the speakers
* The full script and editing plan
* A4G branding/logo
* Suggested on-screen graphics and overlays
* Relevant archive photographs/videos
* Photos of team members where required
* Footage of our offices, including Nepicar House
* Any other supporting assets we have available
What we need you to do
We need a skilled editor to take the raw footage and create the finished video.
1. Professional editing
* Create natural pacing so the video remains engaging
* Use B-roll and supporting footage where appropriate
* Make transitions feel smooth and intentional
* Avoid overusing flashy transitions or effects
* Ensure the overall edit feels like a professionally produced corporate video
2. Audio clean-up
This is particularly important.
Please:
* Remove/reduce background noise
* Improve clarity and consistency of voices
* Balance audio levels between different speakers
* Reduce room echo where possible
* Remove obvious clicks, pops and unwanted sounds
* Ensure speech is clear and easy to listen to
* Add suitable background music where appropriate, keeping it subtle and professional
The speakers were recorded in different locations, so we need the final audio to feel as consistent as possible.
3. On-screen graphics and overlays
We have already provided ideas throughout the script for where graphics should appear.
We would like you to create clean, modern corporate overlays, including:
* Speaker lower thirds
* Animated key messages
* Mission statement graphics
* Icons for our three core values
* Animated presentation of our 8 behaviours
* "Top 100" ambition graphic
* Other key statistics/messages appearing on screen
* Supporting text where it helps the viewer understand the content
The graphics should feel premium and modern, not like generic PowerPoint animations.
Please use the A4G branding consistently.
4. B-roll and photographs
Where appropriate, cut away from the speaker to:
* Nepicar House exterior/interior
* Office footage
* Team footage
* Historical photographs
* Kings Lodge archive images
* Photos of Emma and Josh from earlier in their careers
* A4G systems/process footage
* Relevant workplace/team shots
We want the video to have visual variety and not consist predominantly of people talking directly to camera.
5. Archive footage
There are sections where Malcolm talks about the history of A4G.
We have archive images/videos that should be incorporated creatively, including the history of:
* The original Longfield office
* Kings Lodge
* Malcolm/A4G historically
* The A20 building
* Emma and Josh joining A4G
* The move to Nepicar House
We would like these to feel integrated into the story rather than simply appearing as static images.
For example, gentle zooms/pans, dissolves, photo sequences and tasteful transitions would work well.
Style we're looking for
Think:
Modern professional corporate film + warm and human company culture.
We do not want:
* Overly flashy effects
* Generic corporate stock-video feel
* Excessive transitions
* Cheesy animations
* Overly loud background music
* Anything that makes the video feel like a cheap template
The people and story should remain the focus.
The full script and detailed editing notes will be supplied.
Important: we want creative input
Although we have provided a detailed plan, we are looking for someone who can use their professional judgement.
Deadline: I have a very tight deadline and need the video fully edited by 31st September evening.
