Gunshot - Special effects required for scene in short film - After Effects

Hey everybody,

I need a realistic looking gun shot produced in after effects. It is a lower angle POV shot and the film is shot Black & White.

The scene shows two killers looking into the bathtub and talking about the corpse. During their dialogue one of the gunmen shoots the dead body in the bathtub. It is a POV shot and has been filmed on a 14mm so its a wide shot, I'll attach an image so you see what I mean.

Really quick shot, no longer than a second. Will give the footage the finishing touches.

Just after a convincing looking gun shot with smoke present after shooting rather than a cheap, quick, white flash. I would quite like to have some blood splatter in the bath tub once the corpse is shot too.

So can anyone help?
