My company, Pixelbox, provides web and video services to schools in and around the London area.
We're looking for someone to film Christmas shows at primary schools in London over the next few weeks. There are two batches available - this project is for three shows and there's another batch of four shows (see my other projects). You're welcome to apply for both, but be aware they they contain conflicting dates / times.
The dates and locations for this batch are:
10:00 7th December - Poplar, E14
14:00 9th December - Westbourne Park, W10
17:00 13th December - Westbourne Park, W10
You must be able to attend all of the above shows.
A single camera with on-board audio will be fine. The shows be around an hour (some less) and there's no editing required, just send us the 1080p footage afterwards.
Experience of this kind of work would be beneficial and a valid DBS check would be an advantage (please mention it in your application). If you don't have a DBS you'll be accompanied by a member of staff whilst on site.
Given the changing situation with the pandemic, some schools have chosen not to have an audience, whilst other are going ahead with fewer parents present. You may be required to wear a mask while you're on site.
The budget is £120 per show. That's three hours at £40 per hour, one hour filming and two for travel. You'll need to plan to arrive in good time to set up before the show begins.
There's always a chance that the show can be late to start or run a little long, if that happens you will be paid for the extra time.
