Editor for Career YouTube Channel

CHANNEL OVERVIEW
My channel is about God, goals, and grad school and has an aim to help ambitious, career-minded Christians achieve personal excellence while living an intentional, aligned life no matter where they are throughout the week. As a pop culture enthusiast and devotee to anything Shonda Rhimes touches, I work to incorporate those interests with leadership and personal development insights from academic research and the Bible. I am also an MBA graduate and current PhD student who enjoys using my channel to share resources that help me along the journey, including the acclaimed GRE How To, Pimp My Gmail, and How to Get a Job in Consulting Series.

POSITION OVERVIEW
I am looking for an Editor who will partner with her in storytelling for 4 videos a month. I am looking for talent with an excellent sense of time and pacing, great communication skills, and an eye for content to make the story come alive. I’ll provide access to Storyblocks and Epidemic sound for the editor to source necessary assets. I will also use Frame.io to facilitate feedback and Google Drive to share files.

The right match will have the following:
- Experience with educational and/or lifestyle YouTube channels
- Demonstrated skills in high-quality storytelling
- Has a great sense of timing to keep the pace moving, but also knows when to let a little quirkiness or personality shine through
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work from video bullet points
- Experience creating graphics and text animations
- Experience color grading and correcting for brown skin
- Desire to provide feedback to me so I can help make YOUR job easier while I’m filming
- Enjoys experimenting with making work better than before
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong Wifi uploads and download speeds (I shoot in 4K)
- Expertise in Final Cut Pro x
