We will pick someone fast!
We need animated scenes to a video that aims to raise awareness on sustainable and ecological energy use. The video is an outcome of a recent youth conference on environmentally sustainable lifestyles. We will provide you with some visual ideas from conference participants once we accept your offer, which you should take into account.
The video will consist of spoken messages and animated scenes. The spoken messages will run through the video. The animated scenes will be edited to mix in with other video content we already have. We will handle editing ourselves, we are only asking for animations.
PLEASE READ OUR REQUIREMENTS THOROUGHLY TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDINGS. Our time is unfortunately limited and the deadline approaching.
Requirements - Basic:
-Clear communication in English. There is a lot to do, but not much time to correct misunderstandings. You can reach me almost whenever, so ask if you are unsure. Let's avoid last minute stress.
-Delivery by 30th May.
Requirements - Animation:
-We allow some interpretation of the scenes described below, but the message of each scene should be clear and unchanged.
-Modest music and sound effects are fine but not mandatory. Again, we trust your vision.
-Some reference to the picture material from our conference participants, which we will provide in the work stream. (It's mostly simple stuff like wind turbines and cars and trees)
-Apart from the first scene, avoid headings.
-We'd prefer to receive each scene as an individual file
Requirements - Scenes
1. The slogan '100 People - 5 Days - 1 Problem'
2. The world as it looks now: A grey and polluted picture. A car driving through town, passing buildings where lights in all windows are switched on and smoky factories.
3. Awakening: People realize their actions affect their environment and lives. They come together to discuss how to solve the world's sustainability crises and lead greener lifestyles. Images of light bulbs, networking and community.
4. Vision for the future: Image of the holy grail of sustainability. See the attached picture for a sketch.
5. Change: Images of solar panels and wind turbines powering public transport such as trams. Images of cyclists. The Earth, the ocean, the sun and the clouds give a thumbs up!
6. Resolution: Back to same image as in the beginning. Except the driver is now a cyclist, the sky is clear, there are green trees. Everything seems fine now.
In your offer, please indicate that you have read this. Sometimes people send copy pasted sales pitches as offers, but it is important for us that you have read the above so we are on the same page :) 50 pounds is our fixed price, please don't ask for more than that as we cannot match it.
