We initially require 2 animated explainer videos.
In your quote please state the word OWL at the top so we know you have read the spec.
We require 2 animated explainer videos.
The videos are to be embedded into an iPhone App but also put onto our YouTube and Vimeo channels so need to be produced in a suitable format for each.
2 versions – for the Apple iPhone models including the Plus / X – 2x and 3x scale sizes.
Finished video needs to be compressed suitable for an iPhone
Video to be in portrait.
Colour – use our colour scheme throughout – Blue / green, Red, black, white and the yellow in the eyes.
BP Owl Breathing technique animation 1 – approx. 280 seconds long
The animation will show the Owl that is in our Logo as per attached.
The animation will show the Logo as attached and the owl will then fly from its place in the logo to perch high up in a tree.
BP Owl Hypertension Busting Breathing Technique
As the owl is talking he will be moving around slowly and his chest should slowly be moving up and down to show he is breathing. It would be good to have a little background activity – leaves slowly moving in the wind, birds flying past in the distance, clouds moving past etc.
“Hello, I’m BP Owl.”
“I am here to talk you through a simple and easy to learn breathing technique that will help lower your BP.”
“why not take your BP before we start. That way you have an idea of how much this exercise is helping you”
“Ok, Lets make a start”
“Sit upright in anyplace you feel comfortable, rest your hands on your legs in a way that feels right for you.”
The Owl will shift his feet to get into a more relaxed position
“I have wings so will do it differently. I will also be moving my wings shortly to show how I am breathing” (see pictures)
The owl will bring its wings from the sides to slightly more across its chest.
“Drop your shoulders and just relax for a second.”
The owl drops its shoulders
“Shortly we are going to take a deep slow breath in through our nose for a 4 second count, as we do this we are going to make sure our belly is expanding more than our chest.”
The owl breathes in as he is saying this and expands his chest and belly slightly.

“Once we have breathed in we will hold for a 4 second count and feel our shoulders drop and relax more.”
Owl drops its shoulders and looks more relaxed
“we will breath out slowly for 6 seconds, again ideally through our nose. (take 6 seconds to say this)”
As he is saying this he will breath out for 6 seconds and he will look even more relaxed and his shoulders should drop a little more
“As we are breathing out feel your shoulders drop more. “
“Then inhaling for 4 seconds and so on.”
“With each round of breathing feel the back of your head, your neck, your shoulders, your chest all releasing and relaxing.”
“So, to round up - it will be 4 seconds in, 4 seconds hold and then 6 seconds out.”
“Its not designed to be too easy. The counting and concentration is designed to make sure your mind does not wonder.”
“We will start off with 5 breaths taking just over a minute.
“Don’t worry if you don’t get it right at first, most people don’t, it takes a little practice but once you get it, its worth it.”
“Are you ready to try?”
“Sit upright and remember while you are breathing in your belly should be expanding much more than your chest. “
“Deep breath in through your nose counting,

The seconds appear on the screen as we count, the app will also vibrate at the end of breathing in, holding and breathing out
As the owl breaths in he will lift his wings slowly up and out to the side of his body as per the pics (but keeping the wings slightly curved still as per the pictures sent)

“As I mentioned, Its not designed to be easy, the idea is for you to concentrate on the counting process so your mind does not drift – 4 seconds in, 4 seconds hold, 6 seconds out. As we are holding and breathing out we need to feel our whole body relaxing more and more on each round of breaths.”
“It will take a few times to get it perfect but the results will be worth it.”
