Description
Experience Level: Expert
I am looking for some fairly urgent advice please for a video project that I start filming on Thursday 12th December.
The filming will be done using a Samsung smart phone with an attached Rode Video Micro II microphone.
Some of the scenes are being filmed outside with a natural background and environment, and others are being filmed indoors using a green screen. The sum of the videos, each of which will be about 1 to 4 minutes long will then later be pieced together into one continuous video of about 45 minutes that will then be posted on to my YouTube channel, but I would also like the video to be able to be available as a downloadable file, or files, in case I want to disseminate in a different way, or through a different method to YouTube.
The video is of a London walking tour for tourists and is all of one or two actors speaking to camera while standing in front of a point of historical interest, such as a building or a ship, or standing or sitting in front of a green screen, with a background being added later.
There will be quite a lot of post production required to achieve the end full video. This is phase two of the project.
Phase one, the actual filming, is what I need advice on now please. E.g. what resolution, lighting and any other technical videoing details and protocols I should follow to achieve the best footage, while at the same time making the footage conducive to it being brought together by a video editor into a quality end product video.
Please only reply if you are able to give the advice on any day from 7th to 11th December inclusive. I would envisage the advice being about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour telephone conversation or video meeting between us, where I can ask all the questions i need to and write down the advice as you give it.
Depending on your overall credentials and expertise, if you are the person that gives me the advice for phase one, the filming, then I may also consider your services for phase two, the video editing and post production, which is a much bigger project.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to working with you.
