Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I write comedy and love doing it. However, almost all of my best stuff is when I had some form of brainstorming.
I am trying out for AGT (America’s Got Talent)
To get on the show, you have to be different. After testing out many concepts, I landed on having a Robot as a side kick. I am looking for acts under three minutes.
Here come the questions.
Is this something you would be interested in?
Can you give me rough estimate for what a single set might cost?
Can you edit current sets I have written?
Would you want to see a set or would that hinder you?
I have 12 different situations for the sets, but again, I don’t want to put you in a box. Please let me know what you think.
I am glad to send you a single set if you want it, but I do not what to ruin your creativity, but I do think you will want to understand the logistics.
The Robot speaks and moves with two people behind the scenes. The lines for the Robot are retyped. The person in the back loads a line and sends it at the correct time. The only constraint is that my lines have to be a minimum of 5 words to give the other person time to load the line and send it to the robot. The Robot can say multiple lines in a row.
Since it is a Robot Voice, the punch lines are not great if he presents them. The best way is for the Robot to Set Up the Direction, and I go the opposite way with the punchline.
