The Brief
Event: Charlie’s 30 Birthday Party
Date: Friday 23 January 2014
Time: 8pm - 12am
Digswell, Welwyn, Hertfordshire, AL6
Transport
Nearest Station: Welwyn North Train Station. 2 minute walk up the road that the station is located on. If it is raining a lift can be organised to the venue.
By Car: 5 minute drive from A1M. Come off the A1M at Junction 6. Take A1000 to Hertford Road and then take Station Road turning left onto Harmer Green Lane.
Party Theme
Theres is not specific theme. Guests will be coming dress in smart casual evening wear. Guests have been asked to bring something with them that reminds them of Charlie.
The Guests
Family and their partners (Husband, Sister, Brother, Brother-In Law and Cousins)
Friends and their partners (Primary School, Senior School, University, Local Friends)
The Venue
A mock tudor house with large a kitchen and lounge for entertaining. The party will take place predominantly in the kitchen, where there will be a buffet and music.

Purpose of the Photos
The images will be upload to Flickr for guests to view as well as creating a 30th Birthday folio for Charlie to keep. We may also have some of the images printed and framed.
Type of Shots
Generally I would like a very relaxed feel about the shots so that guests feel as comfortable as possible and the camera blended into the event.
• Impromptu shots capturing natural conversations and situations that occur throughout
• Panoramic/wide shots of the part in full swing
• Shots of guests against the printed.com backdrop that will be supplied and set up
• Shots of groups of friends and family where appropriate
• Collective group shot of everyone at the event
• Shots of the venue, outside and inside
• Images of the props, food and general set up

Two shots of each guest/couple. One to go in the goodie bag and the other for Charlie’s 30th birthday folio.
