Small animation of existing logo

I have a neon style logo that I need converted into a simple animated gif version. I have attached the logo, feel free to check it out. I want it as if a glow highlight was running around just the R and G letters or if you can figure out a more creative style that's cool too. I have JPG, PNG, AI and EPS format


It is on my IPhone Home/Lock screen (SE 2nd gen) I'd like to animate it just a little - by creating a snake like super light running at random on the RG main line - not the top and bottom curves - not a pulse but a moving run maybe like lightening - as you probably know the lock screen doesn't remain long on the opening page to save battery - so it's just to liven up this cool neon like image - currently it on screen as black and white

So it would have to be in some format that can load up to the home screen of the phone mentioned to support this animation
