Experience Level: Intermediate
Retouching of a very simple image in black and white.
1. Convert to greyscale from RGB
2. Remove all background grey tint except shadow. Ensure nice soft edge to shadow.
3. Retain edge at top of image (ensure it is not burnt out and therefore does not fade into background)
4. Sharpen/soften/clarify any reflections in shiny surface to ensure crisp looking image
5. Generally tidy up a bit.
