I’ve got some pictures to send you which would make it easier to explain.
I need to cut some angled purlins which are resting on a low bearing wall and create a floor beam say 6 x 2 which spans the low bearing wall brick work from one side to the other and reposition the purlins or roof braces to distribute the weight into the new floor beam.
Essentially, I am not removing the low bearing wall but need to replicate a floor beam to relocate the load from the roof.
This will avoid angled beams being in the way and give me a bigger space.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards,
David
