Image for website homepage

I'm looking for a creative talent to produce an image for my website homepage.

The website is a directory of fashion brands. The image will need to capture a visitor's attention and attract my target audience. More information will be given about this to the successful applicant.

The image need not be a photograph. I am open to suggestions.

The format for the image needs to .jpg or .gif. The size required is 800 x 500 px.

Please ask for clarification if you need the address of the website as I am not allowed to post it in this description. I would like to see evidence of previous work.

This may well be an ongoing project as I hope to update the image on a monthly basis.
