Black and white photograph reworked

The attached slide shows a black and white photo from 1949 of my mother standing next to her 1932 MG J2 sports car.

I want to turn this into a Canvas Print for her Christmas present but there are three problems:

1. Only half the car is in the image. Is it possible to "blend in" a second image, so the canvas will show the entire front of the car (and with the trees and fence in the background extended, obviously)? I have included three images to show the whole front. The blue one seems almost the same angle as the photo!

2. Can you make the whole image "crisper"? The quality is "as good as it gets" from my HP Deskjet, but if you are in the UK I could be willing to risk sending you the original image.

3. The handbag has been cut off on the LH side, Could you do anything with it?

I have assumed this will be a few hours' work for someone with Photoshop competence, if it can be done at all.
