Description
Experience Level: Expert
I seek the expertise of a skilled CGI artist to enhance a brief sequence from my feature film. Specifically, I have a 10-second frame depicting a group of teenagers walking to school in an urban setting that would be strategically augmented by the digital insertion of airborne black crows. The birds should move and behave naturally yet convey a subtle ominous undertone befitting the scene's mood and themes, The raven animation must integrate seamlessly and appear fully realistic.
Technical proficiency is paramount to convincing sell the illusion that the CGI creatures were genuinely captured in-camera alongside the live-action footage. Their flocking patterns and interactions must unfold organically as they traverse the woodland space. Subtle dimensional shading and textures on the corvid models will likewise be important for photorealistic integration. Should prospective bidders feel confident in their abilities to bring this modest virutal enhancement to life through skillful digital trickery, I welcome quality proposals and examples of past relevant work for consideration. Creativity and mastery of cinema's illusion-making magic are what I seek.

Hey , Karl, do you have a general goe, cultural location and what do the birds symbolise...this would give me a better idea - is there a screen grab or frame of movie for reference
-

Was the original shot locked-off or in motion e.g., dolly, pan, or handheld?
Do you already have raven sounds in mind, or should I suggest subtle cues to accompany the movement?
Should the ravens appear from off-screen or already be in motion as the shot begins?
Are the birds symbolic or meant to feel natural but unsettling in the context of the story?
What’s the delivery format and resolution for final render do you require EXR pass layers or ProRes final only?
