Hi I have had someone else working on the site. He didn't fulfil the whole brief set so there is one last bit to do.
The WP site uses a customised version off woo commerce. The last coder added a "Select Options" button for me that works perfect on the rest of the site. It opens a quick view window as you can see here on main page: http://www.digitechmedia.co.uk/clients/stamina2/
When you use the add to cart shortcode ie: [add_to_cart id="966"], then new button does not work? It works with the normal processing but not for the shortcode.
As you can see on this page the select option does not work? :

should be a quick fix for someone who knows what they are looking for.
