Update new website, changed from Joomal to Wordpress

My Joomla site got infected badly with viruses. All the content I could save has been transfered over to Wordpress.

1.Need all my old links from Joomla site to be redirected to new Wordpress sight. My old Joomla home page had all the content that is now in the ''About'' section of my new Wordpress sight. Will this make a difference to my rankings for this page?

2.Site Map creation and submission.

3.Insert my Logo, which can be found in the image library.

4.I have uploaded a number of images to the library. As this is a safari and tour based website I would like lots of images in the content sections. Possibly a gallery on each page on the side where I can add images from past tours.

5.Would like a language translation widget on the left had side of the site, with possibly a blog underneath for me to keep updated.

6.Would also like a weather widget, set to Durban South Africa.

All the above are to make the site look a little more busy and not so bare.

There are some images in the home page image slider. The 2 images of Durban by day and night are okay. The other images appear to be stretched, can they be altered to look not?

Any other suggestions are very much welcome
