Unix/Linux Guru Required

I am looking for a professional programmer to install an existing application but make some modifications to my own specification. You need to be availble to chat on the phone/skype and I need somebody I can liase with directly and not layers of customer support/project managers/account managers.

I want a solution using the below technology/solution which my students can conntect to over the web and configure devices on some pre-configured network topologies. so we have the conntections set up and they can configure the devices.

So the issues are:

1. Getting pre-configured topologies students can connect to and configure (say 3-7 network devices).

2. How will they connect to each devices from home (say using Putty with tabbed windows)

3. How can the sessions be started and ended when they are done. Can they auto-terminate when no activity for say 20 minutes?

4. Can multiple students use the system i.e. can it be cloned but with blank instances. or would this require anothe server or vmware or more ports to connect with? what about system resources?

5. It is possible for students to save their configurations and start over the next day where they left off.

6. Can I have pre-set configurations where the students can troubleshoot issues I have inserted into the network.

7. Is it possible for me to protect access with a password and I change it each month so only my students can access the equipment.

8. is there a way to introduce a diagram students can refer to which displays the physical topology of the network?

My existing rack is at http://racks.howtonetwork.net but this is all physical equipment which costs a lot of money to buy and maintain and host. I want to have this as a linux based solution.

This project will require support and improvements as we go on so please bear this in mind. I need somebody who can react quickly to requirements and can be contacted easily without vanishing for weeks at a time.
