To build a listings type website in Wordpress.

Hello. I represent a small group of investors who have a new project to achieve.

We would like to build a listings website, similar in function to something like Autotrader [although the product is nothing to do with cars] in Wordpress.

The site we want to build needs to perform the following functions:

Log in / Registration of companies and private individuals.
The ability to upload pictures and information to list an item for sale.
To select from predefined categories and fields.
To accept credit / debit card payments for subscriptions.
A user account for registered companies / individuals with an archive.
Extensive search facilities within the site.
The ability to automatically remove or suspend a listing once it has expired.
We anticipate approx 300+ concurrent wholesale users uploading up to 15k individual items.
We anticipate 10k individuals registering and using the site intermittently for one off listings.
We anticipate 250k unique hits per month.

The style of the site needs to be very clean. Lots of white space and extremely easy to navigate. We will design the log in and listings to be very easy and big bold clearly described steps. Think Fisher Price!
