Three small jobs in Joomla

Hi -

I have created a Joomla site, and the majority is hosted on the site - but I am struggling with configuring the site with an external provider who host some of content.

I have been given codes from the external provider, but I can't get a search API module to display and three links on the left hand navigation to display when clicked - i.e click the link and a box is displayed. The coding will be a right - it will be me and my basic knowledge doing something wrong.

Bids invited - will be a quick job I reckon..
