Project Overview

I'm looking for an experienced WordPress developer to help update an existing website that uses an outdated theme.

The website has approximately 44 published pages and uses two gallery plugins: NextGEN Gallery and Thumbnail Gallery. The goal is to move to a suitable modern WordPress theme, improve mobile navigation, and preserve the existing website content and functionality.

Scope of Work

- Review the existing WordPress theme, plugins, and site structure.
- Create a full backup of the website files and database before making changes.
- Recommend and configure a suitable modern, mobile-responsive theme.
- Update or rebuild the navigation menu for desktop and mobile devices.
- Check that all 44 published pages retain their content and display correctly.
- Test both gallery plugins, contact forms, links, and other key functions.
- Fix migration-related layout issues within the agreed scope.
- Provide a brief summary of the changes made.

Important Requirements

- Proven experience with WordPress theme migration and responsive design.
- Experience troubleshooting older themes and plugin compatibility.
- Ability to work carefully on a staging site where available.
- No deletion of existing pages, content, or plugins without approval.
- A backup and rollback plan must be in place before changes begin.
