Hello,
I need a website like vocal.media
This is a RFQ to find out how much it would cost.
I have a url: worldread.co.uk
I need: website with similar design and functionality but with more gamification
2 levels of users
guests: Can read and vote (read, liked, loved) on stories
members: Can have a user dashboard and can enter competitions.
Can read and vote and comment on stories.
Winners will be based on how many likes a story receives.
I like the look and feel of vocal.media, so not too different, more 'UK' and more friendly/homely/cosy
social media integration - share and invite people
I am not tech-savvy so I will need the website to be hosted and might need ongoing support. What sort of hosting will I need? How much will it cost per month?
Payments will be through Paypal/Stripe or if you have a better experience with something else, that is good.
I will not do pay-per-read as Vocal Media do, but membership will be to pay for competitions entered and payout of winnings.
Please give me a realistic quote. Holding quotes and generic quotes will be ignored.
Please tell me that you've understood the brief and how your experience will fit into this job and how long it will take.

I believe what you want is a community website which will host competitions. Since its an enquiry post, let me give you a brief idea of the costs,:
For hosting, you will need about $12 for the first year if you go with Wordpress hosting by Ionos.
Then you would need to purchase Buddyboss which is about $205 a year, and if you want a completely customised website, I would also recommend a Page builder plugin called Elementor which is about $49 per year.
Its a pretty complicated website idea, and would require some time to build.
