Web developement consultation for TAKTO design s.r.o.

We seek a skilled freelance web developer to provide consultation services for Takto Design, a small design agency based in Bratislav specializing in digital products and services. The selected consultant will work closely with our in-house development team on both ongoing and upcoming projects, offering expert guidance, code reviews, recommendations for improvements to structure/architecture, and help instituting best practices.

The agency is looking to enhance their development process and optimize their digital offerings. As such, the consultant will evaluate the team's current workflows, development standards, and project management strategies. They will then provide constructive feedback and a proposed plan of action highlighting specific areas primed for enhancement. This may include suggestions for improved version control, testing protocols, documentation practices, or tooling/technology choices. Ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality output are top priorities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years professional experience leading web development teams and shipping products. Strong knowledge of modern frontend and backend frameworks like React, Node.js, and databases is expected. Bonus points for expertise in Design Systems, Continuous Integration/Deployment, and API development. Besides technical prowess, the ability to clearly communicate recommendations and train others is essential. The consultant must be diligent, driven to constantly improve their own skills as well as others', and passionate about creating great digital experiences.
