We are a company that sources personal loans for our customers. We take applications over our website from our customers which then goes through to a MS Access database which is on our web server. At the moment we have to open and close the raw MS access database on the web server to view, edit and print data from it.
Once an application is received we currently have to copy customer data from the database and write it by hand onto our pre printed proposal agreement form which we have to post by mail to our customers.
After this is done, we have to forward our customers details to the lender in order for them to receive the loan. We submit our customer data to the lender via an Excel spreadsheet, but at the moment this is done by hand (copy and pasting data from the database into the spreadsheet)
We would like to do all of the above automatically via a web based system which would remove the need for us to; access raw databases, write customer details by hand or copy and paste data into spreadsheets.
The web based system would require a login screen with username and password in order to be accessed. A web based admin page would also be required so we can add and remove these usernames and passwords and create different privilege levels for each of our staff members. E.g., certain user accounts can edit data and certain accounts cannot edit data.
Once logged in, the following functions are required;
Account Management (only on master account)%u2013 This page can add and remove user accounts, change passwords and change privilege levels for user accounts.
Viewer & Editor %u2013 Takes you to the web based viewer and editor which shows every field in the database and depending on user privilege level, these fields will be editable.
Print Loan Pack %u2013 This would take you to a page where we can press one button to print all our customer details onto a pre printed loan pack (consisting of 3 pre printed documents including the proposal agreement) ready to be mailed.
Commission Tracker (only on master account)%u2013 This would enable us to view how many paying customers a staff member has generated over a set period of time.
Payment Submission %u2013 This page would enable us to confirm that payment has been received by a customer.
Forward To Lender %u2013 This page would automatically add all necessary customers into the Excel spreadsheet ready to be forwarded to the lender.
Customer Search %u2013 This page would enable the user to search for a customer in the database by postcode, phone number, customer number ECT
Below you will find links to a database and an excel spreadsheet. The database is extremely similar to the one you will be working with and the spreadsheet is the one that is used to forward details onto the lenders.
