Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the website: Scoring Information
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of every page/module: I'm looking for a MEAN or LAMP developer to start immediately on this. Please state on your response if this is not possible, as the project needs to be completed within 2 weeks.
We are looking to present some data online using a web application. The data is the live results for an Equestrian event, including the live scores for 3 disciplines (which are all scored differently). The entries include a horse and rider, and dependent on their skill level they are also given a class / category, each category is ranked independently of each other.
See below for an example layout of the front-end.
The first 5 columns show the information on the entry.
Columns 6,7,8,9 relate to the first of the three disciplines (dressage), with column 8 being the final score after this discipline which carries over into the second discipline, and 9 being the rank after this discipline.
Columns 10,11,12,13 relate to the second discipline (which can be either Cross-Country or Show Jumping, this example shows the show jumping), showing the number of faults in column 10(for example if they knock the bar off a fence they get 4 Fault Marks). All faults get added to the final score. Also for ShowJumping there is an optimum time in seconds (in the example i believe it was 75 seconds but the optimum time is different for every event ), and if they go over that time they get 1 penalty point for each second they go over, again these are added to the final score. Therefore the final score after showjumping is the dressage score (discipline 1), plus any faults, plus any time penalties.
Columns 14,15 relate to the third discipline (which in the example is Cross Country), where similarly to ShowJumping they get faults for not going over fences, and have an optimum time to achieve. The penalties for going over time are 0.4 points per second, and fence penalties start at 20 points.
Column 16 shows the final scores, which are the 3 discipline scores added together.
At the top of the page is an iframe to the Cross Country and Showjumping breakdown showing on which fence penalties occured.

We can upload the data to a REST service, ideally JSON to be stored and displayed. The REST service would need building and including within the specification
Description of requirements/features: Please see other descriptions
CMS and Admin requirements: As the app would need to be used on multiple events, there will need to be the possibility to set up the event (Name, date, location etc)
As teh app needs to deal with multiple classes / categories) ability to define the category names (and later assign competitors to the categories when imported or added)
Within this would be the ability to set the number of movements in the dressage (see the example and click the hyperlink in column 6 to see the movements).
We'd also need to set the number of fences in the ShowJumping (fences aren't always integer fields, as can be called 9a,9b,9c for example), along with the optimum time
We'd also need the ability to set the number of fences for Cross Country, and the optimum time
Additionally to the above, it would be nice to have the ability to upload the entry information from a csv or txt file.
Also it would be nice to have the ability to be able to change / edit / update any information shown on the frontend from within the CMS (i.e. any of the points, scores faults etc). Ability to be able to retire / withdraw a horse at a certain point in the competition (please see bottom of example URL)
Ability to see / confirm REST API links
Ability to set order of disciplines (e.g. Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross Country or Dressage, Cross Country, Show Jumping)
Specific technologies required: LAMP / MEAN.... Please advise on others
