Updates to online shop system

Our client has an online shop which allows updates through a content management system. They can update the site using through the content management system they can add product information including description, image, price and any discounts, as well as multiple level category set up.

We need a PHP developer to assist with a couple of issues on the site which is written in Kohana:
1. Uploaded images don not appear on the front end if the .jpg is in capitals on the original source file
2. When a Trade Account is approved the user should automatically be given a credit account (this is done by ticking a box in the CMS but this doesn't happen by default currently)
3. There is an issue where the Category to sub category relationship is not working correctly. When navigating the site where a Category has a sub category clicking on it should display a list of sub categories and you can click through a product. Currently clicking a high level category takes you to a full list of products, and a sub category takes you to a list of categories.

The site is quite complex and it will be necessary to spend a little time looking at how the systems works before the changes are started.
