Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking to recruit an experienced technical administrator to work across several areas of our operations. From maintaining websites on an ongoing basis to helping upload data on our web-based Learning Managed Service (LMS) - there are a whole host of technical admin duties the person recruited for this role will be required to perform.
This is a flexible role perfect for someone working from home, though we do require that you come to the office for the required training and for monthly meetings at our office in Blackheath, South London.
Hours: 15 hours a week (2-3 hours a day, five days a week)
Fee: £15-20 per hour (Depending on experience)
We are looking for someone with proven experience and the following:
• A dynamic, enthusiastic individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisational abilities, as well as the capacity to learn quickly and put this learning into action immediately
• Ability to work alone with a can-do attitude and ability to think quickly
• Good administrative skills • with technical expertise
• Previous experience of dealing with clients over the phone
• Sound knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Experience of working with web based applications and CMS systems including WordPress and Joomla, uploading and creating content
• Experience with front end development • especially HTML and CSS coding. Other languages as JavaScript, jQuery or PHP would be a bonus but not mandatory
• Experience with creating concepts, visual design and structure for websites and their elements using Photoshop, Illustrator and other relevant software
• Keen interest in web based technology and experience using social media such as Facebook and Twitter to market services and drive traffic
The role includes:
• Supporting the Account Executive in content managing websites, blogs, LMS system as well as other social media channels, including Twitter and Facebook
• Assisting the Account Executive with monitoring company emails, replying to messages, resolving queries and logging any complaints or issues
• Assisting the Account Executive with daily management of the LMS, including verifying new users, formatting into an excel spreadsheet and uploading these to the LMS once approved
• Assisting the team with uploading new course content to the LMS using an application called Course Builder
• Contribute design concepts and implement these as and when required.
• Full hands-on training will be given to the right candidate.
