Are you an experienced Technical Lead? Would you like to lead a small team of developers in the creation of an exciting new, cutting-edge on-line Negotiation Game? This is a great opportunity to take a lead in a project across all of its life-cycle stages and be involved in the creation of complex software from the ground up.
Our on-line Negotiation Game business requirements have been collected at a high level, and development has started on many parts of the game.
We are looking for a Technical Lead to:
Create an overall Solution Design Document, covering all the components of the Negotiation Game.
Apply expert knowledge of systems to advise on optimal designs to ensure high quality solutions
Create a Technical Design Document that carries full software specifications that developers can build from
Work closely with our Business Analyst to ensure that the detail design meets project business requirements
Provide input into the planning of future developments and enhancements to our game
Provide technical advice and expertise to improve quality and robustness of the Negotiation Game
Provide direction and oversight for our Ukraine based development team on the consistent use and application of tools, standards, methods and processes to ensure that the quality of the Negotiation Game is maintained.
This will include code reviews and the provision of advice and guidance to the team
Validate functionality and performance of Negotiation Game during development to ensure it is delivering a sustainable and optimised service
Develop work estimates for the design and development phases in partnership with the Project Manager, Business Analyst and development team
Lead the investigation and resolution of more complex issues that may arise during the application/development life cycle to ensure effective development, maintenance and support is maintained
Liaise with project team members (Project Sponsor, Project Manager, Business Analyst and development team) to ensure strong relationships are maintained, and business, technology requirements and solutions are understood
Initially we will require you for work with our Business Analyst for about 120 hours to prepare design specifications for our team of developers. Thereafter this will become a part-time position of about 4-6 hours per week. This is a long term relationship role.
A successful candidate must meet ALL of the following requirements:

Three+ years experience in systems specification and design for the delivery of major business solutions into production
