Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need to amend a SQL query to include parsing delimited data from a single field. The field TravelTripMonths is a NVARCHAR field with '|' delimited integers 1 to 12 (it needs to be done like this).
The current query is:
SELECT DISTINCT trip.TravelTripMonths as 'Month', COUNT(DISTINCT trip.traveltripID) as 'Count'
FROM [View1] as trip
GROUP BY trip.TravelTripMonths
With 2 relevant data rows, the query currently returns:
Month Count
1|2|3 1
3|4|5 1
What I would like it to return is this:
Month Count
1 1
2 1
3 2
4 1
5 1
Please quote for amending the query. I also have an on-going need for SQL development so please provide an hourly rate.
Thanks.
