Spry/PHP Contact Page and Wordpress Installation

I have a contact page for my web site created in Dreamweaver using HTML and Spry. I have tried writing a PHP script that sends the content of my page to my email address and at the same time loads another page saying the email has been received. I get the email but not the content so clearly something is wrong that needs fixing. Secondly, I want to install Wordpress onto my web server to create a blog for my web site. I have been allocated a mySQL database but haven\'t a clue as to how to install Wordpress on it. Any help would really be appreciated.
