Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a pretty basic browser based game that's built with node.js and HTML5.
It's a multiplayer game, and its based on timed rounds and a score system.
What I need is someone to integrate some basic bitcoin functionality to the game.
What I want to have implemented:
Entry fee
I would like to have it so that the users enters their bitcoin address before starting to play. Then they are presented a QR-code (and text address) to send an entry fee to. This is a fixed amount. When the entry fee is paid the player is ready to play, but needs to wait for at least one more player.
When two or more players have paid an entry fee they can start the game, or choose to wait for more players. (This could be solved by adding a checkbox for the player to tick when ready)
When the game is started it goes on as normal. It's when the round has ended (approx 3 mins), and a winner is pointed out that I want the winner to get paid out all the entry fees combined.
Did this make any sense? If it did, and you think you could help me out I'd love to hear from you. I can explain in more detail and show you the actual game code.
I would prefer to use Blockcyphers API for this. They include the mining fees for the first 8000 transactions.
Some specifications:
The entry fee needs to be high enough so that if the minimum of two players are playing, the winner ends up earning a slight bit
I’m thinking 0.0002 BTC (200 bits)
It needs to be as instant as possible and doesnt need to wait for any block confirmations.
I can provide an Ubuntu droplet to work on.
