Hi,
I've got an urgent request to set up 'Subscribe' page. Looking to start the work today/tomorrow. My website:
http://www.tolivetotravel.com/everest-qa/
on Wordpress.
And here is what I need:
1) On my instagram (@tolivetotravel) there is a link in my bio. Once you click on it, there is a pop up with a button "Everest Q&A". Currently, it goes to a page on my website that is visible to anyone. I want it to be hidden behind 'Subscribe now' form. The viewer should only see the content on this page if they sing up.
2) The ‘Subscribe now’ form should ask for:
- Email - has to be prompted when non email value is (but I don't need them to verify it)
- Name
- Country – selecting from a user friend dropdown, so they can start typing in the country to filter the dropdown before they make the select, so they don’t need to scroll forever to find their county
3) Once the user enters the details and hits 'Subscribe Now' they can view the page. But it's important for the tool to recognise that they've already signed up, so when they come back again, they don't have to enter the same thing again. Since they will be coming to this page from Instagram, can the tool recognise their instagram handle from which they’re coming from and go by that when checking if that user has already signed up? Is it doable? If so, I would like to go for that option. If not, please let me know if there is an alternative. Maybe the tool would recognise it by the viewer's IP address if the Instagram account recognition is not working?
4) I want to have an option to view the subscribers by country, and when they signup, etc. The previous developer has set up 'Subscribe to Unlock' plug in, but never finish it, hence why I'm posting this new job. I've had a look at this plugin and I didn't see the functionalities that I'm after, so this may need to be changed to a different plugin.
5) Once I collect the emails, I want to have an option to send newsletter to them but I need to have an option to filter the users, eg.
- send email only to users from a specific country (since country will be what they'll be entering)
- or to users who signed up in certain time frame
My current plug in doesn't seem to allow for it, so may need a different plug in.
6) I also want an option to send emails to the subscribers that are formatted in a certain way, e.g. I may want to add some phots, change fonds, add links, etc., so I must have the functionality to do so
7) The current 'Everest Q&A' page, is not actually a page I think, it's more of a text within the 'Subscribe to Unlock' plugin. This may need changing, so new page may need to be set up. Perhaps one page per question could be best? This could help with point 10 (see below)
8) I would like the page to be changed such that, we only see questions, and the answers are collapsed, i.e. you need to click on the question to expand and see the answer. The only exception is the most recent question - this one I'd like to be fully visible without having to click on it. I'll be adding new questions each day, adding new ones to the top, which means the old ones will need to be collapsed and clickable and only the latest will be visible. I'll need you to tell me how to do it so I can continue on my own.
9) At the end of each question, I'd like to place a banner ad. Like the one you see on this page after the paragraph that end with 'Well done Jade.'

10) Add 'Everest Q&A' to my home page. At the moment, there are old blog post scrolling from right to left, i.e. 'Rysy, Poland', 'Mulacen, Spain' etc. I'd like to replace it with the questions from Everest Q&A, I'll select topmost popular, but for now you can choose whichever you already see in that page. But again, I’d need you to show me how to do it.
And same as before, once the user hits one of the questions, I'd need to have 'Subscribe now' appearing and the content should be blocked.
And as before, I'd need the tool to recognise that the user has already signup, so they're free to navigate through all the questions.
11) Also, if the user comes back to the website (not from Instagram but let's say from google search), is it possible that the website will recognise they’re signed up and won't ask for the details? If not doable, can we get 'Already signed up?' button and only ask for their email to enter, so no need for name or country anymore.
I'm looking to have points 1-4 completed within a day or so. Is it doable? So by Sat, 6th August. The rest can wait a bit, but I would like to have it done within a week or so.
Please when you apply let me know on point 3 and 11 if it's doable to recognise the user. And please confirm by when you can finalise that. I'd like only applicants who can jump on the call to discuss things quicker rather than going through endless email exchanges.
