Secure my web site (wordpress) - Someone may be hacking me

Hello there.

I need some advice and practical tips to make sure my site is as secure as possible.

You:

Will speak perfect English and be no more than 3 hours from GMT for ease of speaking.

Will have proof you know what you're talking about. (I'm IT literate - been in IT for 20 years..so no blaggers please).

Initially we can agree a few hours work and then if you're good - more.

Please send me 2 references of people you've worked with / done similar before and be clear how you give a potential new client ( me) assurances of security and trustworthiness through pph).
